Leave lasting positive conservation and community welfare impacts

Our Approach towards Stewardship

We don’t simply adopt a ‘leave no trace’ approach to our trips. We expect to leave our hosts and especially conservation partners in a better place. We achieve this through three primary means described briefly below.

Financial Contribution

Conservation, especially efforts to protect high-value endangered species, is a very expensive endeavor. For each guest that books with us, we build in an option for our guests to pledge a modest yet meaningful 2 - 5% Conservation Contribution into our price. Full Circle will then match dollar for dollar each guest’s pledge up to 5% of the total trip selling price. While opting out of this contribution is not an option, we do allow - and in fact encourage - our guests to direct us which local partner to support with their contribution. Note: this is a direct gift from Full Circle on your behalf to our select Conservation Partners. Our Tourism Partners may also provide additional contribution which varies by company.

Facilitate the Distribution of Key Field Equipment

As all conservation requires equipment and supplies, we also encourage our guests to consider support partners with critical supply needs. This may include boots, backpacks, data collection devices. In Namibia, for example, we encourage guests to support our Pack For Conservation initiative facilitated by local partners Ultimate Safaris and Cymot.

Facilitate Lasting Relationships

During our studies and safaris, we encourage guests and our local partners to get to know each other on both a professional and personal basis. We don’t expect these relationships to end upon departure and rather work hard to ensure that lasting connections are forged and sustained well beyond the farewell. Through our Ranger Ambassador Project we commit to helping facilitate the continued exchange of stories and updates that keep guests connected to both our partners and their conservation work that sustain meaningful memories from both sides.
